We can't stress it enough: Form and formatting of the script with pronunciation notes and stage directions are the be-all and end-all in the production of voice recordings. Only when the text is "right" in content and form can the recording be made. This avoids correction runs, new recordings and thus time delays in production.
The creation of the manuscript in the appropriate format is therefore always at the beginning of our audio voice productions.
Our customers send us their scripts in an impressive variety of different formats and formattings. If we were to hand over the customer scripts to our voice actors without checking and editing them, our project management would be bombarded with queries from the voice actors, directors and sound engineers. Imagine this with 12 languages in one project and you get dizzy... mistakes would be pre-programmed. That's why a production-ready script has to be created BEFORE the voice recording, which every voice actor understands immediately, because they are constantly working with exactly this format.
A production-ready script can be created by the customer or we can create it for the customer:
In self-service the customer downloads the appropriate script template from the zappmedia website or he orders our script service.
